I wish I realized I was taken before I paid. These are bad remakes of great oldies. What a scam

Maybe by 2024, for the 50th anniversary, I will finally be able to purrrrrchase and download the ORIGINAL 1974 version of "The Night Chicago Died." This is a bunch of lousy rerecordings of great songs. Avoid these rerecordings!

All horrible re-records.

Bought this late at night with a song or two in mind. Thought maybe my memory was bad when I first heard a few of them, but realized that these indeed do not sound nearly like the originals. What a ripoff and disservice to these artist and to us the customer! I listened again a bit and heard what is supposed to be Paper Lace. What a joke! I guess joke on me. Terrible. I’d give it zero stars really.

Don't waste your money on these - they are NOT the original artists but rather poor knockoffs!

Unfortunately I bought this before reading reviews and did not see in the description, these are re-recorded versions. I get why they do this but if you are expecting the songs you remember from fm radio long ago, look elsewhere. Most sound fine and are true to the original recordings in terms of being almost exact duplicates with the original vocalists (a few older and aged though) but they all sound like lifeless covers now. The smooth original mixes have been replaced by clean, clear, digital layers that are just overly bright and harsh sounding.

Buyer beware! Wish I’d read the reviews first!

In Hades, and let's face it-pretty much all of us are going there, this is the only music we get. Re-recordings. We'll be jamming red hot burning embers in our ears just to avoid hearing these pathetically limp and soulless tunes.

I was excited about seeing a bunch of the basically one hit wonders I grew up listening to in one compilation, failed to see they were RE-RECORDED versions of these songs albeit by the original artists. What I’m saying is don’t waste your money because you’ll be disappointed like myself, if you grew up enjoying the original version of these great songs
