I've been a fan of this amazing lady since day one, and this is my favorite music she's done yet! Jenn has always been able to embody the spirit of whatever type of music she wants to inhabit. Whether it's folk, pop, country, or this newest endeavor....gospel! But these are more than just songs with a nice message for people of faith. These are songs that feel auto-biographical, as if urgently leaning on her faith in God has been exactly what's brought her to this point in life. There are songs of aspiration and promise (God of Big Dreams)....songs of insecurity and feelings of inadequacy (Take My Hand)....and songs of battling it out with our faith, only to emerge stronger and more resolute (Wrestling). This is a lady with an immense God-given gift, singing praises to the very giver of the gift Himself. All of us are just lucky enough to come along for the ride:-)
