  • La Marisoul!

Every track on this album is so well done and holds discoveries, and the quality of the sound production is so high. But I have to say that the way La Marisoul pours her heart, soul and incredible voice into Dreamland and Nothing To Be Done, with David Hidalgo's beautiful guitar lines, will stick with me forever, and truly gave me a new way of hearing those great Joni songs.

this is so bad. Just stick to the originals. They are so much better. Uncle Joe's Tunz!

Such a great talent and one who deserves a celebration of her songs. I really love Seals cover of Both Sides Now so beautiful done.

Looks like I'm getting to write a review for this on the same day that it was released on iTunes! Well, you will understand that I have only had time to listen to my favorite artists so far. 2 songs by JT and one by Graham Nash. I was not disappointed. Of course everybody knows the famous story about Nash, right? How he and Joni had been out shopping and she bought a vase and they were taking turns playing the piano for each other, and he said, "You place the flowers in the vase that you bought today," so that she would be pre-occupied and then he could be next to take his turn at the piano, because he was in the process of composing a song that he wanted to play for her called "Our House." Something like that.

I loved the movie and the music blew me away. I am very disappointed that only one performance by Diana Krall and only one by Seal are on the album. Both were incredible.

Just returned from the concert movie. Soooooo good. Thrilled that the 2 Rufus Wainwright and the 2 Los Lobos songs are on the CD. Just wish that both Seal songs were as well. His version of Strange Boy was phenomenal.
