The Great Destroyer remix on this album was the last true audio proof we have of Trent being still present in this dimension. I don’t know where he went. This song was a perfect exit before he entered whatever time slip he fell into. The mood and the words were/are prophetic. Whatever algorithm that continues to clamor forward under the guise of the human once known as Trent Reznor or the musical collective known as NIN is a wayward, hollow and poorly coded one. Likely a H1B hire, like everything else. The biological article could carry real feeling, mood and a deep theme throughout an entire album in a way no other musician on earth could. I miss that organism.

This is one of my personal favorite Nine Inch Nails albums. This album has a great flow, track after track. Also, this album has great vocals, great drum solos, great guitar solos and great album artwork. Finally, the instruments wrap around the vocals like no other, and intertwine perfectly. Definitely looking forward to the next limited play album, and extended play album from Nine Inch Nails.
