I still have every LP I purchased in my youth and this is one of my favorite albums. And, yes, I have plenty of the Beatles and Rolling Stones albums but this one is mellow, beautifully arranged and the harmonies make you want to get up and dance. So very unlike the British Invasion yet it just fit the spirit and color of the 60s.

My mom listened to Sergio Mendes & Brasil all the time in the 60's/early 70's. Still sounds great! Love it.

Seldom have I been enchanted by "singers in the band". However, the female singers working with Sergio Mendes talented musicians truly complement that Brasilian sound.
