  • No Danny Not enough Bob

Way too heavy on late 60’s & not enough early 70’s. Danny Kirwan was a great singer/songwriter & guitarist. Bob Welsh should have more songs. My two favorite albums are Future Games & Bare Trees!

This is crap! LB makes the band. Glad I saw them live with him still there. Best concert ever but I’m never going back again!

Not sure if it’s a jab at Buckingham (due to the timing of his firing and this release), but this compilation lacks too many of his beautiful tunes........ so I’m out.

Basically Rumours wrapped in bits and bobs. Peter Green and the late Bob Welch, not to mention LB deserve much better than this.

Nice collection of early tracks- but the collection gives short shrift to the Tusk songs.

The Buckingham/Nicks era has been rehased with a box set in the 90's and all the Deluxe releases as of late. The REAL find here is the first ever remaster of pre-Buckingham/Nicks treasures. The Chain box only contained 2 tracks. Remember that before the 1975 incarnation of Mac there were 9 studio albums. And just because they did not reach sales of what came later, it does not in the least make them less important to the band's history. And with 17 tracks from the early days here, that puts to rest rumors that the estates of the members passed on were holding out for any remaster/rerelease of that material. One can only hope that Rhino or some other entity will finally do the entire early catalog justice and give those recordings their due respect.
