Don't be fooled that this is just a holiday themed album. This album has a deeper theme hidden under the Christmas/holiday theme. Layers include love, nostalgia, lost love, hope in dark times, escape from pressing times and reality into the innocence of childhood. The original songs are top notch Old 97 songs and the covers are great versions of their counterparts. The band shines here with their craft with these tunes especially Ken's guitar work. Thanks Old 97's for a great new album that I could listen to any time of year because it's so good.
