I will always be a die hard Emery fan and own every piece of work they’ve done. I was slightly disappointed by “You Were Never Alone”. It rocked and had great moments but I felt it missed the classic full Emery sound and even production. I think the key is having Devin back fully in the songwriting process. Eve is a masterpiece. Simply stated. Everyone in the band is on fire and Devin and Toby bring back the vocal duo magic. Perfectly timed screams and mature songwriting. Eve quickly has moved into one of my favorite Emery albums of all time. Kudos guys!

So I’ve been listening to the new album for a couple of weeks now. I have to say it took me a couple of run throughs to really get into it. I have my favorites right off the bat but there were a couple of songs that didn’t sound like what I was used to. But once I was able to sit down and really listen to it you get the dual vocals that we’ve been longing for with Devin’s return. Matt’s guitar parts are really in depth and the solo on Name Your God, oh man it’s sick. What I’ve always liked about Emery albums is the fact that I can go through the whole album start to finish without skipping songs. Excellent album guys. Love y’all.

.....WOOOOWWWWW. I am seriously impressed by this new Emery cd. I can honestly say that I love every single song on every single CD that they make. Incredible. They have been around for 16 years now and they are getting better and better with time and practice. To say that they are old would just be stupid. Age doesn't hinder their talents - not for a second. They still have the fiery passion, energy and clever, deep lyrics that makes their music beyond great. This new album has been bringing tears to my eyes. <3 Between the heartfelt lines, clean vocals, power packed screams and original instrumentals, I am once again in love with their sound. Also, I have met every one of these guys and interacted with them. They are just as amazing as people as they are talented musicians. They are seriously down to earth and extremely kind hearted dudes. Even if you aren't a fan of their music (blasphemy!) I would still support them 100%. I love their authenticity with their faith and how its not corny or cliche. I love how they are bold enough to figure out their faiths with their hearts on their sleeves. They ask the hard questions about life and go after what they love. They are by no means perfect and that is what makes them so amazing on many levels. Once again, If you don't preorder "Eve" by Emery, then you are just missing out.

This is one of the best records I've heard this year. Emery are super consistant and have written an indie/alt rock masterpiece.

Got the album early from indiegogo backing. I enjoyed the last album but didn’t love it honestly, but Eve is good from start to finish. Solid catchy hooks, some good emo and some harder stuff too. Classic Emery really.
