The show is amazing the music costumes actresses and actors are phenomenal 🔥💫 The costumes are beyond amazing as well

I was fortunate to see Summer the musical when it first opened in NYC! I am a new fan of Donna Summer now! Go see the show if you haven’t already!

It’s all about presentation and this is great! The critics who say “just buy Donna’s greatest hits” is like saying “ no need to see Dream Girls just buy Diana Ross and the Supremes greatest hits” Believe me, it’s not the same especially when you hear the music live and in color.

Just buy Donna Summer's Great Hits. Ain't nothing like the real thing.

It’s a shame that the folks who are giving one star for this recording haven’t seen the play. How could you honestly give it ANY rating without going? These guys do a great job and I don’t think it was in their minds that they could channel Donna or belt out any tune thinking they’d do better. It’s a Broadway Cast recording not a Donna Summer Album. Once you’ve accepted that then, you might enjoy it. I personally think it’s a great album. BUT of course, stick with Donna if you prefer. You can’t beat her:)

It seems like some people don’t know what an original cast recording is. May I suggest Wikipedia for you Millennials or those unaware before taking to the pen. This recording is to simply capture the musical moments created onstage, especially for those that have have seen the broadway production or just enjoy cast recordings or simply enjoy a different take on Donna Summer’s. The music offered on this recording spans Donna’s illustrious career. The songs were selected to tell the story of Donna’s rise to fame. (Ie broadway musical )., I find it quite silly for those that take the time to write a review and know nothing about the subject matter. Knowledge is power kiddos!

Sounds like a karaoke tape. While no one can ever compare to Donna, they could have at least found some singers who don't sound so auto-tuned. Won't be paying to see this show.
