How is this country it’s all pop like everything else these days

This is called contemporary country right? My parents use to listen to country western like Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty. So what kind of country is Garth Brooks and Tim Mcgraw?

The last Now That’s What I Call Country Vol 10 was awesome. This one has a few good songs but not like the last one. Vol 10 was hit after hit.

Only 6 or 7 of these songs even resemble country music in any way. Definitely not what I call country music

I love most songs on this album, but most of them are NOT country. I think Scotty McCreery and Luke Combs’ songs are pretty country, but the rest is either Pop-leaning country, country-leaning Pop or just flat out Pop. Like I said though, most songs are fine, but most aren’t country.

I love these songs I listen to them in the car everyday and I do t talk to my mom or dad bc I am always listening to these songs

Not country. Ever heard of “A Boy Named Sue”? Ever heard of “He’s Movin On”? Ok, on this album, this?This is not country. What my Papaw plays on his guitar from the 50’s, 60’s and before then is country. As a baby boomer Appalachian, my Papaw knows what country music is. Bebe Rexha is generic pop, not country. “Meant To Be” was catchy but awful. The junk on this album is not country. See ya later.

Look, these are all good songs mastered by amazing artists but it isn’t true country. I’m not going to put this music down, but if you want real country check out Zac Brown Band or Alan Jackson or George Strait though a few of these songs are true country such as Written in the Sand. Bebe Rhexa’s song is pop not country. It’s sad that we can’t tell the difference between pop and country now.
