Been a fan since the 1970s. Have seen him and met him more than a few times over the past 25. This cat is THE MAN in jazz music and anything else he turns his attention to. This would include everybody from Frank Sinatra and Miles Davis to Chaka Khan and Luther Vandross. When he concentrates in his own product it never ever comes from anywhere but his soul. He also is adept at pulling others to another level within their own lane. Never ever disappoints live or studio. Looking forward to listening. FYI, ANYTHING that Marcus has done in the past is well worth the money spent. Do not hesitate to purchase his earlier works.

Great combination of sounds from this genius bassist with an extraordinary variety of music. Take 6 and Kirk Whalum add a brilliant gospel touch. Every cut on this album is a total keeper - - you will not be disappointed. Didn't think I could still be inspired but this wonderful collection did it. Stunning.

Marcus Miller doesn’t disappoint on this project. He is certainly one of the most gifted musicians/producers of our times. The track Preacher’s Kid is probably my favorite on this project. As a tribute to his Dad, you can feel emotions. Awesome project!
