Royce is a garbage person!

Royce da 5'9" brought his A game for this album. Almost a year later from its release the album is as great as it was then. Royce deserves way more recognition than he gets, and its a shame seeing someone so talanted not get the props he deserves. Hopefully he continues to evolve in the current rap game so he can one day be seen as one of the best lyracists of his generation/all time.

Great album

Book of Ryan brings a refreshing vibe into the current rap culture. I am proud to call myself a fan of all of his work. Keep going Nickel.

Royce is absolutely untouchable

This is basically a concept album but actually Royce’s reality and I feel this album should really be listened to from beginning to end. While I normally never listen to skits, the skits on this album are important to the overall story of the album. Royce’s stories are touching and heartbreaking as he answers his son’s questions throughout the album. I’m so glad I listened to this in its entirety. It makes every song stronger. Don’t just listen to Bad Meets Evil Caterpillar, there are so many more important songs on this album. Dumb, Cocaine, Life Is Fair, Legendary, Strong Friend, etc. You get the point. This is an album to experience and follow Royce through each story he vividly portrays.

Best album I’ve heard in a while. Complete body of work.
