Look what I found in the mail today!
I love the album! Smooth Reggae vibes on “She’s so fly” to JL singing on “I was Ready” to the smooth jazz sounds on “Miles Davis” w/ Coolie delivering his smooth, Swanky, Strange Sinatra persona! I love the smooth production and how cohesive JL & Stevie Stone sound together! The smooth chopper “Cautious” w/ insane lyricist Flawless Real Talk has to be one of my favorite songs on the entire project! Songs like “Bad Habits” & “Not One Of Them” make so the listener can relate to the artists. With Suli4Q & Adrian the Truth blended together on “Only a Man” is truly a powerful soulful song! Insane lyricism & wordplay showcased by JL & Stevie Stone throughout the entire album! This is music with real substance behind it! All guest appearances brought something different & unique in their own way to make it one hell of a collaboration album! KONTRA-BAND will be a strong contender to beat Tech N9ne’s PLANET for album of the year!
