I LOVE Welshly Arms. Phenominal band, amazingly kind people. I pre-ordered this album with great anticipation and high hopes. However, I assure you that I listened to the entire album several times before coming here to write a review. The album definately lived up to my elevated expectations. It's cohesive yet diverse and absolutely brilliant. Now quit reading reviews, buy the album and listen. Then listen again. And again...

No Place Is Home checks ALL the boxes for true music lovers. I often find “albums” that are “well-crafted” sonically to ultimately lack any edge or lyrical substance. Not so here. Welshly Arms continues to amaze with their technical chops as well as their compelling lyricism, engaging and inspirational vocals, and major, major GROOVE. And the songs . . .!!! Just impossible to pick a favorite. Every time I settle on one—-the next one starts up and, like my GPS, I am forced to “recalculate.” And, like a great book you can’t put down and never want to end, this album will never make it to the shelf.
