I adore this latest release from Satsang, titled Pyramid(s). One of my favorite up and coming bands, Id say Satsang has arrived. Frontman Drew McManus and Company weave a fresh, vibrant, and soulful collection of lyrics against a musically beautiful landscape. From ballads like "Go Fly"and "Lay me down" to classic Roots tracks like "Be Love" featuring The talented Tubby Love. This album is fun, diverse and has all the ingredients of a modern day classic! This album actually features Many talented musicians from Nahko from Medicine for the People, to Wookiefoot, or my favorite track on the entire album "Be Me" featuring Chris Berry. This song is straight fire. By the time we got to Chris Berry's verse the lyric " I couldna live without this song, it's keeping me alive" was true. It's been on steady repeat and is the kinda tune that reminds me of home, redemption and fills me up with good purpose and intention! A close second would be the track "Here if you need" this balmy Track is heart and soul at its best! The mantra of goodness and beauty feels like a true expression of divine masculine in all its authenticity! In fact The whole Album is magic carpet ride of Authenticity, feeling, and empowering verse! I'm smitten!

I only recently, about six months ago, discovered the music of Satsang when someone posted a link on Facebook for their song "Remember Jah" from their debut album "The Story Of You". After listening to a few other songs from them, I purchased the entire album and have fallen in love with the music. I preordered "Pyramids" with high expectations, and it definitely doesn't disappoint! This album is AMAZING! Lead man, Drew McManus, along with band mates Karl Vincent and Keller Paulson are phenomenal! The music is a soundtrack for positive change, social justice, and a reminder that love wins. Featuring collaborations with Nahko and Tim Snider, (both from Nahko & Medicine For The People) and also Wookiefoot, Uncle Jo, Tubby Love and Chris Berry. The music is honest, the lyrics are truthful, and the talent is evident. You will be glad you purchased this album!!
