Just an amazing band he had at that time. Listening to Into the Mystic, I can’t get over what talent Van has to pull all of the disparate pieces of the Caledonia Orchestra together and still exhibit such soul. Certainly, there are duplicate songs on the different volumes, but no two are performed or sound the same.

I'll never understand why he's so popular. Other than his album version of Brown Eyed Girl, this dude is a mumbly bore.

don't know where on the spectrum Van falls, but what he lacks in personality he more than makes up for in talent . One of the most important songwriters in Rock and Roll history.

I remember having Volume 1 on LP, then on cassette for the car and on CD. I cannot wait for this one. It will be excellent!
