  • Not like the show

I was so excited to download the soundtrack after seeing the show, and was met with extreme disappointment. This is nothing like what was heard during the show. I really hope that one day, Cirque will start putting out the ACTUAL recordings. I only gave it 2 stars because I would feel bad giving it less. I mean, SOMEONE might like it...

I don't like this "inspired" version of the music. Luzia is a wonderful show and the LIVE MUSIC version is beautiful. Majo Cornejo's voice along with the LIVE versions of her songs were absolutely sublime. I don't understand why Cirque changed the music from the live version to this "inspired" version.
  • Everything about the live show is better.

This album is an interesting interpretation of some of the songs from the show. But there's no getting around the fact that A) the show has a good 2 hours of really great music, some of the best I've ever heard in a Cirque show, and B) None of that is on this album. If you haven't actually seen Luzia, I think you'll find this a really enjoyable album. That said, I'm really, really glad I didn't buy a copy as I was walking out of the Grand Chapiteau yesterday because I would have felt totally cheated. The live versions are just so very superior.
  • Tracks 2,4,8&9 are absolutely amazing.

The show the best one we've seen out of 5 . I got the soundtrack because the music was so beautiful.

This album is okay if you want a weird dubstep version of Luzia. Save your money if you've seen the show because the live show and this album are vastly different. I almost wish I had not purchased this album, since this is NOT the music that accompanies the live performance, but I am happy to support Cirque. Hoping there will be a proper show album later.
  • Beautiful Journey To Mexico

If you can't appreciate the beautiful and magical collaboration between Cirque du Soleil and Bostich + Fussible: Nortec Collective, you are totally going to miss the entire concept behind Luzia. This is by far one of the most cohesive albums to a show that was just simply magnificent. A applaud Cirque for taking a musical risk with Nortec Collective because the result was a magnificent mixture of latin sounds and emotions that reflect the heart and soul of Mexico.
  • Hopefully the show will be better!

I have to say the show looks fantastic! I'm so looking forward to see it live. That said, the album is not up to par with other Cirque du Soleil albums. It's odd that they released it before the actual show had it's premier. Again, I think hearing it live will be a completely different and hopefully better experience.
  • Another inspired crappy album.

I had so much hope for the music of this show. For me, the music makes or break the show. Hopefully the live music is way better then this. Save your money and don't buy this.
