  • Extremely Talented Artist

I first heard Parker on the iTunes festival performing with Elton John. A few weeks later I heard him opening for JJ Grey at the Redstone Room in Davenport, IA. His musicianship is first rate! I am a huge music lover and enjoy listening to all types of music throughout the day. But, for some reason, I never weary of playing Mr. Millsaps songs over and over again. He is something very special!

Just watched Parker on the Americana music association awards and was blown away with his sound and talent. Went out to buy the song he sang, Heaven Sent and bought the whole album. Yes, he's that good!! Come to Alaska😉

As a listener of all Genres of Music, I can say without a doubt this is the best album you are going to get for this kind of money! With lyrics that are clear and meaningful. The writing singing and story telling is excellent . Hats off to who ever mixed this too! Voices and Instruments are fully separated and clear!

Must have album. (Raw, gritting) He's the genuine article. "Hades Pleads" had me searching for more. It's been a long time since an artist has captured me like that. :-)

Press that Buy button and come back and read these reviews. In an hour you'll be back here for a multi-star rating. I listened to Parker, Michael Rose, and Daniel Foulks do a few shows over the past couple years and I can't overstate how good a songwriter Parker was then and how he's gotten better as he has "matured." It's pretty evident that these guys have played a lot of shows together. Fill out the base trio and add some noted background vocals and you're in business. This is one of those albums you'll come back to over and over.

Come on Parker! We've waited nearly 3 years for you and the best song that has grittt Hades Pleades is 2:36 long. This has the potential to boogie at least 5 minuets. Whats up? Right?

I love Parker Millsap and I think this album shows his continued growth as a songwriter. If you get a chance to see him live, do it. He puts his heart and soul into his music.
