Gaya of Wisdom

In searching exhaustively for evocative, meditative-inspiring music, Guy Sweens is a terrific find. "Siddharta's Journey" is positively spiritually moving and expansive, taking the listener to a contemplative place unlike most other music in this genre. Karunesh, another favorite instrumentalist artist of mine, is a parallel to Guy Sweens. Highly recommended for those searching for music to bring peace, inspiration and separation from the demands of this world.

I just discovered Guy Sweens and can't say enough good things. He fits the bill with exaclty what we are looking for. Eastern flavored grooves at their finest. My wife is in heaven. This particular collection Gaya of Wisdom has calmer beats and souds than Legend Of Ganesha, and I just love it. Great for many occasions, working or driving or just Sunday mornings. Legend of Ganesha is also brilliant and seductive with strong grooves so get that too. My wife loves to belly dance to that one. I can't wait to get more stuff from this great composer. Karunesh (Joy of Life, Call of the Mystic, etc) is another favorite of ours so do check him out as well.

Simply put I love this CD. Great for meditation, relaxation and just plain listening to.

Put on this album when you want to create something artistic. Very inspiring and soothing
