I have been listening to this album since I was five years old. I will be twenty-eight next week. My grandmama played the hell of this cassette when it was originally released. I LOVE this record. It has gotten me through many nights. I have grown up with it. I know what the blues is because of this album.

If we have music like this today maybe it will be less killing and so much anger

While the official reviewer mentions that Bobby was past his prime, I still put it to everyone that Bobby Bland has a smooth tone that even young singers cannot get today. It is sad that his voice started failing him due to lifestyle, but listen to these songs especially "Ain't No Sunshine" Let the good times roll!
