I love this video! It’s so beautiful. They use light and shadow like an artist uses paint. The shadowy mood suits the darkness of the music so well. It was shot in a historic theater in upstate New York that lends a ghostly atmosphere and just the right amount of ruin to the view. The atmospheric nature of the video reminds me of what the Italians did with westerns and zombie movies in the mid 20th century- bleak, dark, and dusty beauty.
