I have been following Mike for years and have loved his music, his soul, his twits on great songs, and his outgoing personality. This album does not disappoint. It keeps you rocking with great messages and just lifts your spirits with his awesome energy. You think this is good? Check him out live. Great job Mike - from a long time fan!

Kickstarter projects aren’t supposed to win Grammys, but Mike Farris and his crew raise the rafters. The Roots Gospel label doesn’t quite cover what is going on here. This is soul music served up with a healthy portion of grits and Jesus. I don’t care what you think you believe in this is going to have you putting your hand in the air and crying “Hallelujah!"

  • What a voice

I first heard Mike Farris during a sound check before the Warren Haynes Christmas Jam in 2007. He was just singing with a local choir and I was hooked. This guy has a voice that can only be described as a gift. When this came up as a project on kick starter I couldn't wait to be a part of it. This is so strong and positive. This music and Mike's voice is so powerful you can't help but be moved.

Waited for this a long time. It was well worth the wait. If you like this you may also like Zack Williams And The Brothers Of Grace.
  • This one sounds different, and yet it's a good thing!

From the previews of these songs, this sounds lighter and more cheerful than Salvation in Lights. Or…maybe that's the impression the 60's style artwork gives! Either way, Mike Farris has one of the greatest voices in all of music. I'm excited to hear this on Tuesday.

Backed this album on Kickstarted and it was definitely worth the wait. Mike’s voice and vibe are great, soulful and super funky. This is what Gospel music should be.

What a rocker he was, now all his music is gospel-influenced, but tho I'm not much of a gospel fan, I still love to hear this guy make music. His voice is magic.
