Even as a long time fan, who has seen B. B. King many times in concert, I was blown away by these collaborations. I didn't even know I was a fan of Gloria Estefan, until I heard her sing with B. B. on There Must Be a Better World Somewhere.

If you enjoy BB playing Lucille you'll enjoy this compliation. He's playing with some of the very best on this CD. Wouldn't it be cool to be 80 and still be playing meaningful music. My favorite is B.B. and Bobby "Blue" Bland on "Funny How Time Slips Away." Says it all!

In my opinion, B.B. King is the most pivitol living figure in the music industry. At 80 years old, he can still play the blues like he was in his 30's. I don't think any other human being can share those bragging rights. If rock n' roll started with the blues, then I think the blues really hit it's stride with B.B. King. So I think everyone, no matter what sort of music you like, owes their respects to the King of the Blues. After seeing him live, I can safely say that hearing him play Lucille in person was the closest thing to a religious epiphany that I've ever experienced. This man MADE all of your music, so as they say, BOW DOWN TO THE KING!
  • B.B. KING'S MUSIC IS LIKE A FINE WINE THAT HAS AGED FOR EIGHTY YEARS, SAVOR IT!
