Had this album ever since it came out and she's the bomb. She needs better marketing because she's true talent.

The only argument that is flawed and tired is yours...I can't wait to read your reviews when your "beloved" nostalgia (hmm Sam and Dave meets The Commitments?) gets trampled by the Gaga of the day...and you have no youth to cling to. Nice work as usual Ms. James! Don't listen to that fool. P.S. By the way, you wouldn't know art if you "tripped" over it!!! ><

'her argument is flawed and tired?' i at times wonder where itunes digs up these so called 'reviewers'. they seem to be mere shills that wouldnt know the difference between real talent and the wind blowing through their empty skulls.

I loved this so much when I discovered it soon after its release that I gave it to nearly everyone on my Christmas list. It still is and will always be in my Best Of stack. Can't wait to get the new one.

I'm disappointed in the iTunes review of this artist. Her soulful voice is undeniable and relevant. When someone is this good, give them their respect iTunes.

Ah music again... real, raw, talent, in a world where sadly you really need none to make it. All you need is a thong or be naked and shake. Most do not care if you can actually sing or not. And so I see that the album reviewer must be a thong wearer or lover to have written a such a review as they did. Well the only thing I have to say to you, if you do not recognize real music when you hear it, and you can't give props where they are too due, then get another J.O.B. This girl is the baddest thing out here. and only to rival is Mrs. Mary j or newcomer Chrisette Michele, and as far as just opening her mouth, she could and would give Mary J a run for her money. So any one reading this dis what the very unknowledgeable album reviewer said, and just listen. you will find that this girl is the cream in the cofee and the butter on the bread. it is too bad that her voice and talents are to far beyond her age of 20+ years. I know this will make it impossible for most younger ones to appreciate her, though some of us 30 yrs olds do. So for us and no doubt older ones who do not think it started and stops with ah J Z, honey please keep singing. I can't wait for her new album to come in May.

I absolutely need Leela James' new song "Tell Me You Love Me".
