Pure country gold

I wish there was more music like this out there. Jason Boland is what you want hear as you spin around the dance floor with your husband, boyfriend, or just some stranger at the honky-tonk.

This is an awesome album and I iTunes needs to make ringtones out of it, quick ! Especially the song "Lucky I Guess" for the Texas country fans !

I don't understand how this is not on the radio and blowing up the award shows!

I have been a fan since the first time i heard them in 2003! This album tops all thus far with the exception of the Live at Billy Bobs album which is a party set. This is his best song writing and performance to date. Since the first spin of this album I was hooked! I can't get enough and have been spinning this album since June. But if youre not looking for the classic real country sound, go elsewhere. Dark and Dirty Mile is deep in sound and the lyrics are amazing with meaning. There are no empty lyrics. RECOMEND RECOMEND RECOMEND!

I haven't gotten this album but listening to preview it sounds like another great album! I have most of his other albums so will be getting this album soon :)
