If people question Kanye now that he's making a statement against mainstream thought, those people should do some reflecting on just how much they liked Kanye in the first place. If you like Kanye it's because he's rebellious and uses his trials as inspiration for his tracks. My advice to Kanye - keep the grind going and use this hatred to power your message of inclusion for all and of course, free speech.
  • Same old story

There's not much new to say about this album that i haven't said about the vast majority of rap albums. It's the same old story. Garbage from an ego maniac selling a fake personna to impressionable people who want to emulate his truly contemptable personna. I'm a new father, i can't imagine my kid, or anyone's kid hearing this. Even the thought of his own kid(s) hearing this just blows my mind. No wonder society is in the toilet. To make matters worse, as with most rap, the lyrics aren't even sort of generalizable. It's all far too personal to listen to. The dude's basically mixing in his "i'm awesome" lines in with things that happened to him. How is that something i would care to listen to? You take a song about you making a sandwich, make it rhyme like a second grader can do, and point out how this sandwich makes you rich and awesome and you have a rap song that people will listen to if it's got Kanye's name on it. Pathetic. Both him and all of you who listen to it. It's extremely rare for me to give an album just a 1 star rating. Over one thousand album reviews and it's happened less than 10 times. But when i keep just one song on this album and it only has a 2 star rating, that's cause for such a bad album rating. Even the song that i kept, Breathe In, it only made the cut because Ludacris elevated it to an actual decent track.

I love this album. It is impossible for me to skip one track because the whole album is amazing. I've only been listening to Kanye since TLOP in 2016. I thought it was a great album so I decided to listen to Kanye from the beginning, starting with The College Dropout, and man is it a great album. I've listened to this album countless times and never got tired. Favorite tracks include We Don't Care, Through The Wire, Two Words, Slow Jamz, and Last Call. Honestly, I think Last Call is an amazing track because Kanye told the story of how he got signed to Roc-A-Fella records. Not only that, I did my research and listened to the songs he mentioned in Last Call, Like Wow, H to the Izzo and Heart of the City. What I like best is his iconic soul type beats which defines the album. We Don't Care was a great song to start off the album. I kind of wish it was a single. But yeah, I love this album. Kanye Wests best album. 5 stars.

Aside from maybe Outkast and Eminem, Kanye West remains to me one of the most multidimensional rappers in R&B. We don't care and all falls down are classics that attest to that. One of the best albums of the era.
