Not bad but not great
I guess you have to like his style of humor which I find kind of dark and dead panned. Some of his jokes I don't find funny but he's ok and he's cute at least. Overall I don't love it or hate it. AJ is ok.
Almost as good as Shakespeare
By burritos in america
Waste of money if you thought this was a good Anthony show don't be mistaken DONT DO IT
Thought it was really funny.
Standup Album of the Year
Anthony Jeselnik is the only working comic who is truly diabolical. Hilarious!
Anthony Jeselink Amazingly funny
Bit of a sophomore slump
I enjoyed Jeselnik's first album, Shakespeare, a lot. The jokes were tight, and the images they invoked were fun to think about. But this next album is too similar to the first. I often anticipated the punchlines, because the formulae are familiar to me now. There are some funny jokes here, but I wasn't amused through about half of the set.
Good at jokes
I played lacrosse against Anthony in high school. I don't remember him saying anything funny then. Or at all really. We were both defensemen, so we probably didn't interact at all, spending the majority of the games at opposite ends of the field. But Dave Apple seemed like a dick, I remember that.
Anyway, I haven't listened to this album yet, but there's no way it's anything but excellent. Pittsburgh comedy rules. Except for Dennis Miller. What happened to that guy, right?
Anthony Jeselnik is one of the modern day comedy greats. Best comedy album of 2013.
this album should have been ALL new material. instead like half of it was and half of it wasnt... still amazing though.
