Ooh La La has some really flat vocals. I’ve heard much better versions of this song.

"Stay With Me", "Borstal Boys", and "Pool Hall Richard" are three of the greatest pure rock songs in history. Not a bad song on the album. It's a must buy.

Ronnie Lane… Rod Stewart… Kenney Jones… that other guy… Great band, great album, great songs, if only the Faces could've stayed with us! (Bad own intended)

The Faces are one of the best bands in R&R history, as is Rod Stewart as a vocalist.

It does not get any better than this. This is "rock n roll"

There's no such thing as the Best of Small Faces without "Itchycoo Park; period. JSJR 772011

This is a great collection from a great band! If you like The Rolling Stones or The Black Crowes you NEED to hear this. Not a bad song on it. It's gutsy, swaggering classic rock at it's best. Each band members contributions are superb. I'm glad I got it. I own "A Nod Is As Good As A Wink..." and as perfect a record as that is this is a nice overview. Get it, turn it up and enjoy!

The thing you realize as you listen to Faces is that these guys were just as important as the Rolling Stones. From the early East London days of Steve Marriott to their heyday with double-record-deal Rod, they coined the sound, the feel, the attitude, hell, Rod even coined the rock'n'roll phrase "hey, what's your name again?", (sadly stolen without recognition a few years later by Skynyrd), and paved the way for so many garage bands to come. But they did it better than anyone. When the band kicks into "Pool Hall Richard" it still smacks me in the face just as it did the first time I heard it, and makes me remember how much we owe to this scruffy little band of tall-hairs from Dear Old. Buy this one and buy all the rest, they'll never leave you if you know a thing about rock'n'roll, and you might as well admit you'll never hear anything like 'em. Kyf Brewer Barleyjuice

Having listened to Rock music all my life [My 63rd BD is today] I have to say Faces is one of the most under appreciated bands ever!! They "SMOKED" back in the days when the two R boys were still with the band. I've never tired of listening to their music and as long as my hearing holds out will continue to sing along!!! LOVE teh FACES!!!!
