I myself was in 2 of the branches of the military. I was in the Navy SEALS and was in the Coast Guard. I have served for half of my life and still am today. Whenever me and my family celebrate, we use these songs. They were the songs that were we all knew. I love this album because it lets the public know what the songs for the branches are!

This classical album features primarily instrumental patriotic classics with a few songs with vocals. This is great background music for a Fourth of July party or cookout. Sometimes, too much music with vocals stifles conversation, so this was a great option. This album includes classic American patriotic music with no pop beat or frills-- perfect!

As wonderful as Sousa may be, it is nice to have a compilation of music that includes a wide variety of patriotic music for our holiday gathering. Intelligently done and a lot of fun!
