I Am is definitely EW&F's finest work... every single song is a winner. I Can't Let Go is perhaps one of the greatest grooves of any generation. If that song doesn't get your toes tapping, then rigor mortis has set in!

Everyone has that album, that came out at just the right time, right age, right place and with the right people. This is that album for me. The music is outstanding and the diverse styles are stunning. I've never tired of any of it. Nothing brings me as much joy as when I listen to this....and in particular, "After the Love is Gone", which brings back memories of a lifetime of Earth, Wind and Fire happiness. If given the choice, this is the one album I would take to my Island getaway.
