  • Huge Disappointment

This is not a good album. Do not waste your money. I was excited about the concept of this, outtakes, covers, alternate versions, etc. But, come on, there has to be enough tape lying around to pick better quality songs than these. Time to release some new, good music instead of re hashes, re releases, etc. Your fans will only buy so much based on your name. Time to step it up and come out with some new, good music. Hopefully there are some new songs left in the tank.
  • Strange collection

I'm a BNL fan from way back, but this is one strange collection. I love the old live tracks from the early days. But listening to the previously unreleased studio tracks, you can totally tell why they were left in the can. Such a shame, considering how many unbelievable and exceptional b-sides and non-album tracks BNL had over the years. I hope they dive deeper and more completely on the long rumored Box Set they've been promising. Nice to hear some of the old songs again, but this compilation is severely disjointed.

Best of live. Best of demos. Remixes. Steve singing with the band. This collection is like a dream come true. I hope they find more tracks for a volume two.
  • BNL fan must-have!!

First, it's awesome to listen to Steven Page "back" on a BNL album. The previously unreleased tracks are very good, even comforting to hear. You can tell they simply couldn't fit Yes!! Yes!! Yes!! in something like Everything to Everyone. At the same time, I Don't Get It Anymore is clearly a newer song, in the spirit of All In Good Time. I liked the live songs too, except Shake Your Rump, which is so freaking dated it's not even funny (White guys rapping? Thanks, I'm good). One week is always fun, even if it's the same song with a different drum track. The vocals in Adrift are very powerful, loved it! Old Apartment sounds like a mellow acoustic Saturday afternoon in the summer version, which is cool. I Can, I Will, I Do is also mellower. In all, a nice listen and a must for the serious BNL collector. "Serious," ha!
