These are lovely songs to indulge your pity party. Their performance and composition are practiced and suitable. The titles and compositions are generic, so name them what you want. TIP: To save yourself some money, pick out just one you like—Heart of Glass, maybe—and play it on Repeat until you've heard an album's worth of schmaltz. [Then splash some cool water on your face and go for a walk.]
  • A Beautiful Collection

There’s a certain kind of sadness you feel when you lose someone you love. Whether it’s because of a death, or if it’s because that person has cut ties with you. It’s hurts us all. And even though this album isn’t a concept album, it feels like it’s carrying on a story about losing a loved one. We feel this through the song titles and the tone of each song. It’s perfect for grief. Personally, I’m not going through something like that currently, but I have gone through that before in my life. So, had I known about this album during my last times of grief, I would’ve listened to this one to cope.
