This is what got me into music when I was 5 years old. It was absolutely formative in where I get my rhythm from as a musician. From front to back track after track of great songs. So much nostalgia! Amazing cast of guest musicians. This is a treasure for me personally.

My goodness… the number of great (and unique) songs on this soundtrack is unmatched. And the BAND, oh my gosh. Find me a better soundtrack of original recordings, and I'll give you $20.

This was one of the few R rated movies my parents let me as a child. The soundtrack is a reminder of when music was great.

Why isn’t John Lee Hooker included? Very good and fun album, but incomplete without the Grammy winning Mississippi Delta blues man.
