Wonderful album showcasing the best Baroque pieces. The sound quality and recordings are amazing as well. Great buy!

Being an avid baroque music enthusiast like myself, it’s always nice to stumble upon a collection so grand priced at less than a twenty. Great Vivaldi and Bach selection!

This is a great collection for Classical music lovers, especially for those already well-inclined to Baroque music or newcomers to it. Bach and Vivaldi take up the biggest pieces of this collection (not undeservingly) while it also has many other noteworthy composers like Handel, Telemann and Purcell. While one might ask where Rameau is on here, one thing i have to commend this album for is starting itself out with a Monteverdi composition -- a composer whom many consider to have started the Baroque period, yet whose music is not included on many a collection of Baroque music. The pieces are performed well and are ultimately a good listening experience. If you're looking for a good starting point for indulging yourself into Baroque music, or want a decent collection of it that's easily appreciable, you should definitely consider buying this album.

I bought and downloaded this yesterday. Almost half of the tracks won't play completely. They'll play up to around the 1:00 mark and then skip to the next track.

If you like baroque music, this album is a must. And for the price, you cannot beat it. Absolutely wonderful music compilation.

Excellent Recordings AND Sound Quality I was a bit worried that someone had strung together some second-rate material and was tempting the buyers with sheer bulk. That is not the case here. Definitely my best iTunes purchase. I've listened to 97 of the recordings so far.
