Adam has put together an album that at first blush may seem like some of the pop stuff out there, but I suggest you really take your time and listen carefully. The guitar riffs are definately rock, especially in songs like Music Again and Strut. Adam he mixes genres from the 70's, 80;s and today as if they were paint colors. There really isn't anything else quite like this. Adam's voice takes any song to new heights and has made this one of the best debut albums I have heard in a long time. Especially considering he had a really short time to do it. Songs like Soaked (thank you Muse for letting Adam have this) Broken Open and Open Smile are just surreal they are so beautiful. For Adam Lambert, American Idol is history, it is so obvious that he is a natural born star and that was just a little tool to air lift him to the present. I can't wait to see what else Adam does in the future - brace yourselves because it will be a wild ride!!
