This song should have an E beside it due to a curse word

This will always be one of my favorite albums to listen to. It it great for southern rock lovers. They are the only country rock band I listen to because they are so amazing. Buy it all, simply great compilation!

This master of country needs to be listened to more by people. This guy is listened to less than the annoying Jonas Bros. Mow that's a shame.

I recommend this to everyone. Some songs aren't as popular as others but they grow on you. Thanks CDB

Ya gotta LOVE this album. I don't care much for modern country music, but this kind of country (southern? rockabilly? rebel?) is simply classic! Charlie D rocks! 'Uneasy Rider' is still a hoot after 35 years—regardless of whether you side with the ‘hippies,’ the ‘rednecks’ or the ‘commies!’ ‘Still in Saigon’ may stem from the Vietnam War, but its message is eerily familiar in today’s political arena while ‘Simple Man’ strikes a visceral note now just as it did back in the ‘70s. (Just ignore the annoying religious references if they bother ya—the music’s subject matter is still incredibly moving.) Religion aside, how can anyone not get riled up when ya hear 'The Devil Went Down to Georgia.’ TDWDTG is a song that everyone must hear at least once in their lifetime— that fiddle is so hot you can smell the fire and brimstone! Plus, if ya wanna ‘get’ some of the modern day references—Futurama, SNL, Squidbillies & Robot Chicken have all parodied the song—you need to hear the original Charlie version. Rappers, Bluesmen, punkers, rockers—home grown and foreign have recorded covers of this devilish tune. Oh, and as others have mentioned, ya better get to know the licks if ya wanna blaze through Guitar Hero III...TDWDTG is a BOSS song that shows up when you battle for your soul! Want something ‘new’ to turn on to? Ignore the fact that this album gets dumped into the country music category and check out some of its tracks! Ya just might find out what ‘rosin up your bow’ means…. lol.

i haven't listened to all these songs, but the devil went down to georgia is really good (and yeah its on GHIII i love it!!!), but the weird al version, "the devil went down to jamaica" is still better =D
