Like Jack White, I too find Son House to be a huge source of inspiration. John the Revelator gives me chills every single time I listen to it. Requiescate In Pace

I remember when Son House died. I read about it in Living Blues magazine next issue after he passed. The writer ended his article saying something like: "every bluesman in the world just moved up a notch...the man at the top has passed away." Had to get this for my iPod. I have this record (vinyl), without Scorsese’s name on it in. Not sure why his name needs to be on this album now. Blues really doesn’t get any better than Son House’s music. God rest his soul.
