I'm so sorry I bought this. What happened to Mariah's good club mixes? I couldn't listen to more than half of this cacophonic disaster before I shut it off. If you want to hear a good Mariah remix, search for the “Always Be My Baby” club mix on the Internet... then pray that you actually find it, because it is one of the most amazing club reinterpretations you'll ever hear, yet it was never released in America. For shame.
This is one of the BEST Mariah Carey and David Morales collaborations!!! It gives me deep chills up and down my spine!!! Mariah + David = SUPER MEGA ULTRA AWSOMNESS!!!!!!
My recommendations are:
Anytime You Need A Friend (C&C Club Mix)
Joy To The World (Celebration Mix)
Fantasy (Def Club Mix) & (Sweet Dub Mix)
Always Be My Baby (Always Club Mix)
Fly Away (Def B. Fly Mix)
The Roof (Funky Club Mix)
Can't Take That Away (Club Mix) & (Revival Triumphant Mix)
It's Like That (Club Mix)
...And of course this mix!!!

The other reviewers have made it clear. The Mariah/Morales collaborations are her best remixed works. On most of the remixes that David Morales has done for Mariah Carey, Mariah has actually lent a live vocal performance on those very remixes. This is a practice that is quite uncommon on most dance remixes for even the best remixers. Did I mention that David Morales is one of the best remixers? Or, do I even need to?
Dreamlover [Def Club Mix] as remixed by David Morales
Fantasy [Def Club Mix] as remixed by David Morales
Heartbreaker/If You Should Ever Be Lonely [Junior's Club Mix] & [Junior's Hard Mix] as remixed by Junior Vasquez
Honey [Classic Mix] as remixed by David Morales
It's Like That [Morales Classic Club Mix] as remixed by David Morales
Each of those recommended remix projects included a special vocal performance by Mariah Carey that were totally different from the original versions that they came from. Every single one of them is a masterpiece.
The ONLY version....
I'm a casual Mariah Carey fan, and I use the term loosely. I really enjoyed her first album and to some extent her second album as well. Over the years I've enjoyed a single here and there. I must say there is something that Mariah has done well over the years (I really don't care for her current faux hip hop stuff), and that is make fierce dance mixes. This one has to be her best. With newly recorded vocals & a hypnotic beat, it's heaven on a gay dancefloor! The original is pretty lackluster, that's putting it nicely, but this reworking by David Morales gives the song a whole new life. Can't wait for him to "work his magic" on her latest single.
well this is ok but itunes definently needs to get her new single, "Touch My Body" from the her new album, E=MC2
oh hell YES
oh man. Mariah's voice just RESONATES. buy this now.
I don't get why I TUNES took, such a long time to get it!
But David Moreles ROCKS
not her best...cute album cover though...
A great remix
Agree with other reviewers, wish it had been here sooner!
