Hands down her best album to date. She needs to go back to her R&B roots and make music like this again. Too many generic club beats on the radio now, there's no need for her to join that pool.

"Love Don't Cost A Thing" reminded me that I used to be an accessory for boys, at some point in my life. I didn't have my own identity. I was simply known as "his girl". And when I would complain, I would seem ungrateful. It didn't matter how much was spent on me... I would still leave relationships that were about the man and his world, that made me invisible. I learned to survive in these worlds but eventually something had to change. How long can a woman stand in her man's shadow? If a woman is given the same space as a man, she will do anything for him. She will even stay in his world and make him seem more than he is. It hurts to be just some girl who was passing by in a guy's life. It hurts to be replaced. It's hard to stop myself from becoming that way towards men. People should have value, they should make an impact on each other's lives when they get close to each other. Guys respected Jennifer Lopez when "I'm Real" was released. I'd hear them singing it to themselves all the time in Cairo. It's like they wished they could find a woman like her, in a society that was filled with so many fake women.

Great album!!! This album is over 10 years old. I still listen to it today. My favorite song is "I'm Real Remix" (Track 15). My other favorite song is "I'm Real [original version]". Jennifer Lopez has a beautiful voice, and she is one of the most talented artists that I have ever heard. "Love Don't Cost a Thing" is not the best song on here, so I don't know why it is the most popular song on the album. This is one of my favorite albums of Jennifer's. I also like her album "Brave", which has some great songs. One thing, iTunes labeled the genre wrong, because it's not R&B/Soul it's Pop. Go J. Lo!!!!

I love Jennifer Lopez, and love this Cd. This is a good album and I almost like the whole thing. The only ones I don't like are #'s 7,11,14, and 15. I love all the others. If you agree that this is a good album and you love Jennifer Lopez click YES. If you don't agree click NO.

Her second album, J.Lo, is really better than her other albums. Love Don't Cost A Thing has a thundering beat, and a great remix on J To Tha L-O, the remix album. I'm Real (Murder Remix) has a nice beat, but can't match up to I'm Real, the original. I'm Real is my favorite song on here, it is so catchy, and it is just all-around great. Play (Edit) is a great club track on here. Overall, this album is great.
