  • Magical!

I just remember the first time I heard this recording on the radio about 15 years ago. It was the first time was released on CD and was broadcast in my country for promo purposes. That radio captures my attention and without any doubt I can say this recording is Magical and Magnificent. After that many CD labels reproduce the same CD but only this one Trova is the best in sound quality. Enjoy!
  • Key Addition for Bossa Nova Fans

This is my favorite bossa nova album, surpassing even Getz and Gilberto's famous release. Although the sound quality is somewhat lacking, the pure genius of the music transcends this. I fell in love with my future wife listening to this music... (Well, we both grew up there, and that helped too!) Every song in this one is a 'keeper.'

Three major bossa nova talents together. Much better than its companion recorded around the same time "En Mar del Plata" (listed in ITunes under "Vincius" de Moraes). Maria Creuza's voice and Toquino's guitar are at their individual peaks and are excellent at interpreting the old master's musical vision. Especially recommended tracks are A felicidade with its motto "Sadness has no end, happiness does", Voce Abusou, and of course Vinicius' masterpiece Garota de Ipanema.
