I had the privilege of being part of the Live Studio Recording (Sat night March 6 early show) at Deep Ellum in Dallas. What you hear on Bet! is what we heard through our headphones (see YouTube). No overdubs, no start overs, no “take it from’s…”. I’ve been a fan for years and they just keep getting better. It is probably their most funky album ever - take a listen to Take It! featuring the bands mentor & friend Bernard Wright on keyboards who died just a few months after the recording. I think there’s another Grammy coming!
