It’s very rare for me to love every song on an album the only previous albums that I have loved every song on it were Motionless In White’s Disguise in 2019, and New Years Day Unbreakable in 2019. I love that there is a bit of everything on this album that Icon For Hire has shown on previous albums that has made them a stand out band in the Rock Genre. We have Ariel rapping and Shawn killing it on the instrumental parts of all the songs. We also hear the emotional impact behind the songs such as Brittle, Background Sad, Panic Attacks, and Sticks and Stones. Love the album and even more impressive that they made this, their second studio album as an independent band with no label behind them. They are free to be themselves and I say keep the material coming this is phenomenal.

I can respect the band for going their own direction and being what they want with the band. But their previous bite they had just feels long gone. The only song I really enjoyed was seeds. The rest is just hard to listen to.

I’ve liked each successive release better than the last and this album is no exception!! I love it start to finish.

This album is a return to form for the band with a little bit of every album and single thrown is as well. You liked the rapping from the self-titled album? There’s some of that. The heavy guitar? There’s that too. This album is fantastic. Listened through twice, can’t wait to listen more.

COVID brought out the best of their music on this album. The songs are so catchy and good. Incredible mix of rock/pop/hip-hop elements. Love it!

This band has evolved so much since their beginning, they’ve experimented with different things on each album, and they always make it sound great. I expect this album will be no different. Looking forward to hearing the heavier tracks and guitar solos that they have implemented on this album. This may end up being their best album yet!
  • what happened to this band?

This band used to be amazing and have such an edge. That edge is long gone. The instruments are weak, the vocals are whiney and grating, and their originality is gone. I really miss this band--they were amazing in their debut and have been declining ever since. It's unfortunate because I know they have talent, but they sure aren't using it :(
