This new self-titled album, High Road, continues the vocal and musical mastery that these amazing women execute with every performance, whether live or in the studio. The music is warm, inviting and draws you into each song so that you aren’t just listening to the song, rather you are experiencing the music and the words. While picking any one song to be a favorite would be a huge discredit to the other songs. Two songs definitely struck a chord for me: Faith, Hope, And Love and Two Coats…because of what the words say & mean. Faith, Hope, And Love tells us a truth that we all should be embracing, no matter what! Two Coats, to me, tells a story of how you can shed the coat of a burdened life for a coat of purposeful, with-God life! I highly recommend this album, (especially if you appreciate great gospel music with a country/blue-grass tone).
