  • A work of art, from start to finish

The best jazz vocalists are the ones who through their interpretation and delivery, draw the listener into the song by way of depth and emotion. They’re playful and warm, technical yet flexible. They are a noteable part of the musical canon and deserve the attention of all jazz fans. Sara Gazarek checks all of these boxes with the release of "Thirsty Ghost" and let's us know there's more to come. This album feels like a coming of age; Sara seemlessly explores new territories with maturity and range, both vocally and emotionally. Now, if only there was an option for 6 stars...

This album is so clearly full of heart, honesty and passion. Couldn’t wait for it to be released and I’m so glad it’s finally here.

I tried to listen, but I couldn't. The artist is trying to hard---pretentious.
