I've enjoyed Chelsea Wolfe's style of music since her first EPs and have consistently purchased her albums since 'Apokalypsis'. I prefer heavier music but the weight of these songs on this album are not to be taken lightly even if they are more of her dark folk style rather than a metal vibe as her last two albums have provided. Returning to her roots was the right move and I'd suggest this album to anyone who enjoys thought-provoking music.

I cannot stop listening to these amazing songs.

The Mother Road might be my favorite song of 2019 so far, incredible.

I’m not that impressed by her two singles. I was expecting more from her new album after “Hiss Spun”. I remember when 16 Psyche was released, I fell in love instantly and it never got old till this day. These new songs seem like their missing something. I agree with theneedledrop’s review for Mother Road saying that the part he enjoyed was towards the end of the song and the rest was weak. I hope CW proves me wrong with the rest of the album. And I do realize that this is an acoustic follow up to “Unknown Rooms”, but even that album has songs better than these two.

I love Chelsea and this is a great teaser for this album. I can’t wait to hear more!!

As always Chelsea has yet again released a great song. I cannot wait until I hear the entire album. I expect great things. She always delivers.
