in 2014 i discovered alex g with the album DSU, i knew it was a really good album and also got RULES, but i was going through a phase where indie sigher songwriter stuff just wasent sticking with me. i listened to this album and was almost religious experience. all the way through over and over, made me go back and relisten to the albums of alex g that i had and also get his entire library. i hear sea change era Beck, elliot smith, grizly bear, lil bit animal collective, lil bit modest mouse. its the best thing ive listend too in a very long time.

Once again, a phenomenal album by him. This one happens to be his most complete. Every song sounds like it was from one of his other albums, so when i say culmination, i say it as in, this album sounds like all his albums combined into one sound. And he pulls it off gracefully.

Found these new songs to really hit me in an emotional way. Highly recommend. Alex G does it again. Keeps getting better.
