AFI after this album really got away from punk rock and I was really happy. To me, punk rock music all sounds the same. Fast drums and fast lyrics with songs that last for two minutes. AFI then died with “December Underground.” “Crash Love” was their worst album to date and they went another direction trying to blend punk rock, pop, and alternative. It was awful. What a shame.
