  • Horrible execution

Like others have mentioned, Apple did a horrible job in this collection. The issue is organisation. The song titles of the first album where eight songs all named "Rush". The first three songs of the album "Fly By Night" were all named "Fly By Night" instead of "Anthem", "Best I Can", and "Beneath, Between, & Behind". I can't even tell if the collection is arranged into disks as everything was all mushed into one. TERRIBLE job Apple, and I was so looking forward to this collection.

The music is good, unfortunately iTunes delivery is not. This is not a collection of albums, but rather one giant album. It therefore cannot be sorted or organized as such. Asking Siri to play an album just results in a prompt to get Apple Music or to buy the album, unless you've also purchased each album individually. Given the removal of filtering from iTunes you also cannot find individual songs. I took a risk, hoping some of the issues raised in other reviews had been addresed, sadly they have not. I've put in for a refund. If you like this era of Rush, go track down individual albums or originals or another format.

I love that I have this compilation. My only complaint is too many live tracks. I understand it’s the complete set from Mercury.
  • Another iTunes Mess

Bought the set. The albums display in a chronological order, which makes sense. But, the song titles are not displayed. In the place of the song title, it just displays the album title, like this: HEMISPHERES 1. Hemispheres 2. Hemispheres 3. Hemispheres 4. Hemispheres But if you play a song, the song titles do display in the “Next Up” list. iTunes has become a real mess. My album art remains scrambled among different titles, a mismatched mess. WHY!?
  • Still a good value

I’ve had this set for several years, it was nice getting everything all at once after I saw them on R40 tour. I previously only had a couple random albums and a compilation. However I did later end up buying the 40th anniversary editions of 2112, Hemispheres and AFTK, they have excellent bonus material. Most recently I bought Different Stages to get some mid-90’s live material.
  • Watch Out: It's also a REMIX

I bought this because I wanted a clearer sounding version of my Rush collection, especially the muddy-sounding Signals and the way-too-soft Presto. Overall, this anthology succeeds in improving the quality of the sound. BUT, what I didn't expect was changes to the originals songs. The most glaring example: a drum fill from the second bridge in Time Stand Still was copy-and-pasted into the song's first bridge. This goes way beyond what the anthology was purpored to be and, probably, beyond what the artists intended. I expected the songs from Vapor Trails to be those from the re-mixed version (they are), but I never imagined they'd tinker with other songs. Bad, bad call.
