The first time I heard Diddy Bop from the 50 Shades of Gray soundtrack, I was amazed by Jacob Banks voice and went in search of more of his music. I discovered Village and loved it right from the first time listening to it. I can’t count how many times I’ve heard this album now. Of all of his albums this is without a doubt my favorite. At times it is fun and full of joy. Other times his voice is soulful and at all times his lyrics are deeply personal. This collection of songs stands out above all the rest of my music and I can’t wait for more songs from this amazing artist.

Just when I thought nobody was doing quality R&B anymore, Mr. Banks goes & changes my mind. Stellar album from begining to end. A must listen for anyone that loves quality music.

His voice & presence on every song is effortless. He is what R&B is missing.
