I’ve been a fan of these guys since the beginning. While I’ve always loved their sound and vibe, I thought the songwriting could use a little work (the first album in particular was a little boring and repetitive). They nailed it with this one! Can’t wait to see them perform these songs next week.

I’m kind of disappointed with this one. It almost seems like it lacks direction and flow. Like a free form style of some sort of mellow funk/soul retro fusion. It doesn’t seem to fit anywhere. Maybe their intention was to do some experimentation.

There’s something about this album that grounds me and makes feel the earth.

These guys keep adjusting their style for each album, and this does not disappoint. The weird old guys talking is an odd choice but it works for me

With every record this band matures and reveals more of itself. Paul Janeway has a vocal tone that’s as unique as a fingerprint. And the palette the band uses to deliver his tone is familiar, but also very much their own sound. This record addresses the conflicted feelings of being a southerner in 2018. If you listen to just one track, try “GotItBad. And if they come to your town, go see them; they slay it as a live band.

Sounds like there going in the wrong direction with the music nothing like the first album the second the changes were ok but now it just sounds like grabbing for air play and not what original fans are expecting

This aint alternative. It is Disco. Its not bad, but it needs to be categorized properly.

Bought it to support rising talents 👌🏼 Listened to it a few times, I'm overly critical about music, but this is an overall great album
